Monty Python [3x08] - The Cycling Tour.srt

1
00:00:38,672 --> 00:00:41,608
August 18-- fell off
near bovey tracey.

2
00:00:41,641 --> 00:00:43,777
The pump caught
in my trouser leg.

3
00:00:43,810 --> 00:00:45,512
My pump caught
in my trouser leg

4
00:00:45,545 --> 00:00:47,480
And my sandwiches
were badly crushed.

5
00:00:47,514 --> 00:00:48,515
35p, please.

6
00:00:48,548 --> 00:00:49,783
These sandwiches,
however

7
00:00:49,816 --> 00:00:51,284
Were an excellent
substitute.

8
00:00:51,317 --> 00:00:52,485
Give us ten woods,
barney.

9
00:00:52,519 --> 00:00:53,486
Hello.

10
00:00:53,520 --> 00:00:54,587
It's funny, isn't it

11
00:00:54,621 --> 00:00:56,156
How one can
go through life--

12
00:00:56,189 --> 00:00:57,724
As I have--
disliking bananas

13
00:00:57,757 --> 00:00:59,426
And being indifferent
to cheese

14
00:00:59,459 --> 00:01:01,327
But still be able
to eat and enjoy

15
00:01:01,361 --> 00:01:03,463
A banana-and-cheese sandwich
like this.

Monty Python [3x09] - The Nude Organist.srt

1
00:00:01,236 --> 00:00:02,770
This is
captain macpherson

2
00:00:02,804 --> 00:00:05,440
Welcoming you aboard
east scottish airways.

3
00:00:05,473 --> 00:00:06,975
You'll have had
your tea.

4
00:00:07,008 --> 00:00:08,643
Our destination
is glasgow.

5
00:00:08,676 --> 00:00:12,146
There is no need
to panic.

6
00:00:12,180 --> 00:00:14,048
There's a bomb
onboard this plane

7
00:00:14,082 --> 00:00:15,683
And I'll tell you
where it is

8
00:00:15,717 --> 00:00:18,653
For a thousand pounds.

9
00:00:18,686 --> 00:00:20,154
I don't
believe you.

10
00:00:20,188 --> 00:00:22,891
If you don't tell me
where the bomb is...

11
00:00:22,924 --> 00:00:24,993
If I don't give you
the money...

12
00:00:25,026 --> 00:00:26,895
Unless you give me
the bomb...

13
00:00:26,928 --> 00:00:28,596
The money.

14
00:00:28,630 --> 00:00:30,598
The money-- thank you,
pretty lady--

15
00:00:30,632 --> 00:00:32,834
The bomb will explode,
killing everybod

Monty Python [3x10] - Henry Tripshaw's desease.srt

1
00:00:03,636 --> 00:00:05,271
Morning, sir,
can I help you?

2
00:00:05,304 --> 00:00:06,906
Oh, yes, I wondered
if you have

3
00:00:06,939 --> 00:00:08,975
Any part-time vacancies
on your books.

4
00:00:09,008 --> 00:00:10,776
Part-time, I'll
have a look, sir.

5
00:00:10,810 --> 00:00:13,279
See we've got,
uh... ah, yes.

6
00:00:13,312 --> 00:00:14,914
Sir walter raleigh
is equipping

7
00:00:14,947 --> 00:00:16,616
Another expedition
to virginia.

8
00:00:16,649 --> 00:00:18,284
He needs traders
and sailors.

9
00:00:18,317 --> 00:00:19,285
Vittlers needed

10
00:00:19,318 --> 00:00:20,953
At the court
of philip of spain.

11
00:00:20,987 --> 00:00:22,088
Oh, yeah,
and they want

12
00:00:22,121 --> 00:00:23,489
Master joiners
and craftsmen

13
00:00:23,523 --> 00:00:25,424
For the building of
the globe theater.

14
00:00:25,458 --> 00:00:27,593
I see, haven't you got
anything a bit more modern?

15
00:00:27,627 --> 00:00:28,995
Yo

Monty Python [3x11] - Dennis Moore.srt

1
00:00:03,904 --> 00:00:06,907
Boxing tonight comes
from the empire pool, wembley

2
00:00:06,940 --> 00:00:08,775
And features
the main heavyweight bout

3
00:00:08,809 --> 00:00:12,312
Between jack bodell, british
and empire heavyweight champion

4
00:00:12,346 --> 00:00:16,083
And sir kenneth clark.

5
00:00:16,183 --> 00:00:17,985
It's the first time
these two have met

6
00:00:18,018 --> 00:00:21,421
So there should be
some real action tonight.

7
00:00:21,455 --> 00:00:23,390
This then is the height

8
00:00:23,423 --> 00:00:25,926
Of the english
renaissance

9
00:00:25,959 --> 00:00:29,096
The triumph of classical
over gothic...

10
00:00:29,129 --> 00:00:30,531
He's down.

11
00:00:30,564 --> 00:00:35,435
Sir kenneth clark is down
in eight seconds.

12
00:00:35,469 --> 00:00:37,938
But he's up again,
he's up at six.

13
00:00:37,971 --> 00:00:40,774
The almost ordered facades
of palladio's villas reflect...

Monty python's flying circuses.

2
00:00:38,034 --> 00:00:43,706
Tonight jeremy toogood reads
redgauntlet by sir walter scott.

3
00:00:43,740 --> 00:00:46,209
Hello.

00:00:47,610 --> 00:00:50,680
The sunsoot...

5
00:00:50,713 --> 00:00:52,048
The sunsiett...

6
00:00:52,081 --> 00:00:53,816
The sun... the sunset!

7
00:00:53,850 --> 00:00:58,254
The sunset waas... was, was...

8
00:00:59,055 --> 00:01:03,459
The sunset was...

00:01:03,493 --> 00:01:07,497
Over the hile...
hiel... he... heels...

10
00:01:07,530 --> 00:01:09,766
Oh, hills, hills!

11
00:01:09,799 --> 00:01:13,036
Of... slow... sol... way firth.

12
00:01:13,069 --> 00:01:16,406
The love piper...
the lone piper.

Monty Python [3x13] - Grandstand.srt

1
00:00:07,809 --> 00:00:10,879
Good evening, we've got an
action-packed evening for you

2
00:00:10,912 --> 00:00:12,247
Tonight on thames.

3
00:00:12,280 --> 00:00:18,053
But right now,
here's a rotten old bbc program.

4
00:00:18,853 --> 00:00:20,255
And now...

5
00:00:20,288 --> 00:00:22,857
It's...

6
00:00:52,120 --> 00:00:55,757
Ladies and gentlemen...

7
00:00:55,790 --> 00:00:59,027
Mr. chairman,
friends of the society

8
00:00:59,060 --> 00:01:03,131
Your dummy royal highness.

9
00:01:03,431 --> 00:01:04,566
Once again

10
00:01:04,599 --> 00:01:07,302
The year has come full circle

11
00:01:07,335 --> 00:01:12,440
And for me there can be
no greater privilege and honor

12
00:01:12,474 --> 00:01:15,577
Than to that
to which it is my lot

13
00:01:15,610 --> 00:01:18,446
To have befallen this evening.

14
00:01:18,480 --> 00:01:20,982
There can be no finer honor

15
00:01:21,016 --> 00:01:24,452
Than to welcome
into our midst tonight

Monty Python [4x01] - The golden age of ballooning.srt

1
00:00:10,776 --> 00:00:16,782
The golden age of ballooning
can be said to begin in 1783...

2
00:00:16,816 --> 00:00:19,785
When the montgolfier brothers
made their first ascent

3
00:00:19,819 --> 00:00:21,353
In a fire balloon.

4
00:00:21,387 --> 00:00:23,522
On the eve of that...

5
00:00:23,556 --> 00:00:25,191
Oh, come on.

6
00:00:25,224 --> 00:00:26,826
Momentous ascent

7
00:00:26,859 --> 00:00:29,895
The brothers took one last look
at their craft

8
00:00:29,929 --> 00:00:32,298
As it stood on the fields
of annecy.

9
00:00:32,331 --> 00:00:35,034
This is a great moment
for us, joseph.

10
00:00:35,067 --> 00:00:37,369
It is a great moment
for france.

11
00:00:37,403 --> 00:00:38,704
Ah, oui.

12
00:00:38,737 --> 00:00:41,807
The first ascent
in a hot air balloon

13
00:00:41,841 --> 00:00:44,710
By the montgolfier
brothers, 1783.

14
00:00:44,743 --> 00:00:46,278
I can see us now

15
00:00:46,312 --> 00:00:49,715
Just after "monte

Monty Python [4x02] - Michael Ellis.srt

1
00:02:30,517 --> 00:02:32,686
Yes, this looks
the sort of thing.

2
00:02:32,719 --> 00:02:33,921
May I just try it?

3
00:02:33,954 --> 00:02:35,389
Certainly, madam.

4
00:02:35,422 --> 00:02:36,890
Oh, sorry, so sorry!

5
00:02:36,924 --> 00:02:38,158
Yes, that's fine.

6
00:02:38,192 --> 00:02:39,960
Is that on account,
madam?

7
00:02:39,993 --> 00:02:42,329
Yes.

8
00:02:45,966 --> 00:02:48,435
Hello?

9
00:02:48,502 --> 00:02:50,971
Hello?

10
00:03:00,814 --> 00:03:02,216
Oh, I'm terribly sorry.

11
00:03:02,249 --> 00:03:04,218
I thought you were
someone else.

12
00:03:04,251 --> 00:03:05,519
Oh, I see, yes.

13
00:03:05,552 --> 00:03:06,587
I'm sorry, sir.

14
00:03:06,620 --> 00:03:07,855
Can I help you?

15
00:03:07,888 --> 00:03:10,591
Yes, yes, as a matter of fact,
you can, actually.

Monty Python [4x03] - Light Entertainment War.srt

1
00:00:50,479 --> 00:00:54,984
Taking life as it comes--
sharing the good things...

2
00:00:55,017 --> 00:00:56,218
And the bad things.

3
00:00:56,252 --> 00:00:59,288
Finding laughter and fun
wherever they go.

4
00:00:59,321 --> 00:01:02,324
It's with these two
happy-go-lucky rogues

5
00:01:02,358 --> 00:01:06,128
That our story begins.

6
00:01:08,531 --> 00:01:12,668
For it is they who were
run over by alex diamond--

7
00:01:12,702 --> 00:01:15,438
International crime fighter
and playboy...

8
00:01:15,471 --> 00:01:17,273
Fast-moving, tough-talking

9
00:01:17,306 --> 00:01:20,076
And just one of the many
hundreds of famous people

10
00:01:20,109 --> 00:01:21,510
Who suffer from... lumbago

11
00:01:21,544 --> 00:01:24,347
The endemic disease
about which no one knows more

12
00:01:24,380 --> 00:01:27,283
Than this man,
dr. emile koning--

13
00:01:27,316 --> 00:01:29,785
Doctor, surgeon, proctologist

Monty Python [4x04] - Hamlet.srt

1
00:00:36,235 --> 00:00:37,970
It's just that everywhere I go

2
00:00:38,004 --> 00:00:39,438
It's the same
old thing--

3
00:00:39,472 --> 00:00:41,107
All anyone
wants me to say is

4
00:00:41,140 --> 00:00:42,375
"to be or not to be."

5
00:00:42,408 --> 00:00:43,743
"that is the question.

6
00:00:43,776 --> 00:00:46,145
Whether 'tis nobler
in the mind to suffer..."

7
00:00:46,179 --> 00:00:47,713
It's either that
or "oh, that this

8
00:00:47,747 --> 00:00:49,382
Too, too solid
flesh would melt..."

9
00:00:49,415 --> 00:00:52,118
"would melt, thaw and
resolve itself into a dew.

10
00:00:52,151 --> 00:00:53,953
"or that the everlasting

11
00:00:53,986 --> 00:00:56,822
Had not fixed his canon
'gainst self slaughter..."

12
00:00:56,856 --> 00:00:57,990
Yes, all that sort of thing

13
00:00:58,024 --> 00:00:59,392
And I'm just getting
really fed...

14
00:00:59,425 --> 00:01:01,494
Do the bit about
"alas poor yorick."

Monty Python [4x05] - Mr Neutron.srt

00:00:37,800 --> 00:00:41,470
Let's bring them out!

2
00:00:41,971 --> 00:00:45,007
Any old iron!

3
00:00:48,010 --> 00:00:51,047
Any old iron!

4
00:00:54,083 --> 00:00:56,152
Thank you.

5
00:00:56,185 --> 00:00:58,421
Any old iron!

6
00:00:58,454 --> 00:00:59,989
Thank you.

7
00:01:00,022 --> 00:01:03,059
Any old iron!

8
00:01:37,259 --> 00:01:41,864
We are here today to witness
the opening of a new box

9
00:01:41,897 --> 00:01:44,266
To replace the box
which used to stand

10
00:01:44,300 --> 00:01:47,703
On the corner of ulverston road
and sandwood crescent.

11
00:01:47,737 --> 00:01:49,905
Owing to a program
of road widening

12
00:01:49,939 --> 00:01:52,475
Being carried out
by the borough council

13
00:01:52,508 --> 00:01:55,678
The ulverston road box
was removed

14
00:01:55,711 --> 00:01:58,447
Leaving the wall box
in esher road

15
00:01:58,481 --> 00:02:03,285
As the only box for the people
of the ulverston road area.

Monty Python [4x06] - Party Political Broadcast.srt

1
00:00:04,038 --> 00:00:05,807
There now follows
a party political broadcast

2
00:00:05,840 --> 00:00:07,074
On behalf of the liberal party.

3
00:00:07,108 --> 00:00:09,043
Pratt, back to pratt.

4
00:00:09,076 --> 00:00:11,012
Pratt again, a long ball
out to pratt

5
00:00:11,045 --> 00:00:12,713
and now pratt is on the ball...

6
00:00:12,747 --> 00:00:15,950
a neat little flick back inside
to pratt, who takes it nicely

7
00:00:15,983 --> 00:00:18,419
and sends it through
on the far side to pratt.

8
00:00:18,452 --> 00:00:21,756
Pratt with it but passes
instead to pratt, pratt again...

9
00:00:21,789 --> 00:00:23,191
Oh, and well intercepted

10
00:00:23,224 --> 00:00:26,127
by the swarthy little
number nine concito maracon.

11
00:00:26,160 --> 00:00:27,461
This 21-year-old halfback

12
00:00:27,495 --> 00:00:29,764

I've found the english subtitles for the 24 last episodes of the Monty Python's Flying Circus, but I can't found the 21 first ones :o(

Those subtitles come from a rip of the closed caption subtitles.
I used a software to modify some little things (all subtitles were written with caps-lock and I've erased other things like [] ).

I have synchronized them with the dvd rips available on the edonkey network.
You can find the links of the files on this thread :

Please, if you find the english subtitles for the 21 first episodes, put them on the edonkey network or on subtitles websites like dvd.box.sk, divxstation.com or www.divxsubtitles.net.
